We had a fantastic time at Secret Garden. The rooftop bar was the highlight of our stay, with its cozy atmosphere and stunning views. The drinks were affordable, especially during happy hour. The staff were always friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The beds were comfortable and clean, ensuring a good night's sleep. The dinner options were tasty and filling, worth every penny. we had a fun and enjoyable experience at Secret Garden.

While the facilities were decent, there were a few drawbacks. The bathrooms were sometimes dirty due to the high number of people using them.

Great location, close to public transport and within walking distance to the main attractions.

Checking in and checking out can be a bit time-consuming due to the merging system with the restaurant upstairs.

The hostel had a great location, near the lively Old Town, making it convenient for exploring the city. The rooftop bar and eating area offered a stunning view. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Some rooms even had curtains and USB ports. Besides, the hostel provided free towels and had lots of amenities.

One downside was that the hostel could be quite noisy due to its popularity and the number of people enjoying themselves.

Love the central location of this hostel, it made it so easy to explore the city and visit all the attractions. The free walking tour was a great opportunity to learn more about the area. The rooftop terrace with the amazing view was definitely a highlight. And the free coffee and tea in the morning was a nice touch.

The set-up of the reception was a bit confusing when I first arrived, and there was often a wait if someone was checking in at the bar. The music at the bar was not my taste and it was quite loud, especially in the rooms directly below.

During my Christmas stay, I really enjoyed the clean and fresh atmosphere at the hotel. the plants added a nice touch, and the sensational view was a definite highlight. the friendly staff made me feel welcome, and the services, like laundry, were top-notch. the availability of free drinking water and a selection of teas was a nice touch.

The dorms were quite cramped and had an unpleasant smell, although I understand that this is more of an issue with the travelers themselves. the lack of proper ventilation made it difficult for the rooms to air out.

Despite the staff's lack of motivation, the hostel itself was a great place for solo travelers. the social atmosphere and the awesome roof terrace made it easy to meet new people. the hostel was clean and well-equipped, providing all the necessary amenities. I really appreciated the free tea and water available all day. the hostel also had a travel agency downstairs, offering great tours to nearby national parks.

The staff seemed unmotivated and uninterested in their job. They didn't provide any information about the hostel or the surrounding area, leaving me feeling uninformed and unsure.

I stayed at Secret Garden in Quito for 3 nights as a solo traveler. The affordable private room was comfortable and offered great value for money. The staff were friendly and all spoke English, making communication easy. The top floor, where meals are served, provides an amazing view. The hostel also offers communal dinners, making it easy to meet fellow travelers. The bathrooms are clean and the beds are equipped with plugs, lights, and shelves. The location is central and walkable to the historical center. The free walking tour is a great way to explore the city.

    Totally recommend this hotel.

The rooftop terrace offered amazing views of the city and was the perfect spot to relax and soak up the atmosphere. The layout of the hostel was great, with plenty of bathrooms, showers, and lounges to accommodate all guests. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were surprisingly quiet, awesome for a peaceful night's sleep. The staff were really good too help us , especially when we had a problem with a tour we booked. They spent hours trying to sort it out and even offered us a room for the night. It was such a kind gesture and made our experience nice. we highly recommend this hostel!

While we understand that it may be a popular choice for international travelers, it would have been nice to have more opportunities to practice our Spanish.

We had a fantastic time at this sociable hostel in Quito. The bar with its amazing view was a highlight, and the food was delicious. We enjoyed participating in the hostel's many tours and activities. The location was also perfect for exploring the city.

One slight downside was the cleanliness of the dorms. Some guests didn't keep their belongings tidy, and there was even a bed bug incident.
